It is often held that to choose a career with an excellent salary is the most

considered factor among people. However, I am of the opinion that pursuing a

profession which fulfills with passion could be much more rewarding than
considering a lucrative career.
There are many people who choose a well-paid career in order to pursue the
money although they are not interested or passionate on it. Consequently,
they could not get an enjoyable working atmosphere and feel bored or even
stress when they overcome difficulties in the job. Secondly, their creativity
would also lose and could not reach a higher level in the workplace due to the
lack of interest. For instance, if a sport person has to work as a cook in order
to get much more money, he would not concentrate on cooking and find it
difficult to work. What is more, although he is well-paid, he cannot be a
successful person in his field.
On the other hand, there are many other factors in choosing a profession
instead of high income. Firstly, the most essential one needed to be
considered is passion so that someone feel comfortable with his admired job if
he even faces a lot of barriers. Another important factor is that choosing a
career which is matched with people’s proficiency and skills. This is particularly
true for acting and music industries because most of the adults want to be
actor or singers to get a high income even though they are not proficient or
lack of talent.
In conclusion, although having a high income is needed to be considered,
other factors such as passion, proficiency and skills play the most important
roles in planning a profession.
