Walk-in-Interview for the post of Part-time Medical Consultant at Civil Aviation Training
College, Bamrauli Allahabad
The Civil Aviation Training College (CATC), Allahabad is a training establishment of Airports
Authority of India (AAI). This is the only institute of its kind in India. It meets training requirement
in the field of ATM and CNS Maintenance & Operations, as per ICAO standards.
- CATC is located at Bamrauli, Allahabad. Situated at a distance of approx. 10 Kms. west of
Allahabad Railway Station, on the Grand Trunk Road, close to Bamrauli Aerodrome,
Allahabad.
- The CATC has existed ever since 1948 (under the then Civil Aviation Department, Govt. of
India).
- CATC is a modernized training establishment in terms of Infrastructure, training facilities,
laboratories and simulators.
- The institutional building with 33026 sq. meters of covered space along with hostels and
residential buildings spreading over 106 acres (43 hectare).
CATC wishes to engage the servicers of ONE Medical Officer (01 Female) (MBBS, MD) for
trainees, employees and their dependents on purely contractual basis initially for a period of 02
years, which may be extended on the same terms & conditions, subject to satisfactory review of
services. However, the services may be terminated by either party by giving one month notice.
Interested eligible candidates may attend the interview with their original certificates and
other relevant documents with an attested photocopy of each of it and a recent passport size
photograph along with the updated Bio-data.
However, this cannot be claimed as right for any benefit/future absorption. Besides candidates from
open market, retired government servants are also eligible for engagement. Details of pay,
eligibility conditions, etc. for the post is as indicted below:
Remuneration:
-All working days of the calendar year except on weekly and gazette holidays as per AAI’s
calendar.
- Visiting hours will be of 02 hours per day for which the timings can be decided as per the
convenience of Doctor.
Work Profile:
The appointment is purely on contractual basis and the period of contract shall be for 02 (two)
year.
The primary aim of this contract is to provide Medical Consultancy & Assistance to the
Trainees and employee & their dependents as and when required in the CATC Campus, on all
working days.
Other conditions:
1. The service provider shall have facility to provide minimum treatment for all types of
medical emergencies like orthopedic, burns, heart related emergencies, trauma and routine
emergencies etc.
2. Some necessary medicines and medical equipment like thermometer, BP meter,
stethoscope, wheel chair, stretcher, reclining beds, stools, furniture for doctor, curtain for
partition etc. shall be provided by AAI in Medical Inspection room.
3. Ambulance on 24 hrs. basis is available at CATC in case of emergency.
4. The selected doctor will be required to enter into an agreement with CATC, AAI which
would contain detailed terms and conditions on above mentioned parameters.
5. Qualifying doctor should have all the mandatory licenses to operate. He/ She should comply
with all rules and regulation applicable.
6. Any legal obligations arises due to lack/deficiency of services will be sole responsibility of
the doctor.
7. AAI will have all the rights to cancel the allotment due to deficiency in service and /or for
not following AAI’s and other mandatory rule and regulations.
8. The engagement of Consultant is purely temporary. No claim shall lie for regular
employment on that basis at any stage.
9. AAI reserves the right to accept/reject any or all applications without assigning any reasons.
Termination of Engagement:
1. The engagement is liable to be terminated in case-
a. Medical Consultant/Specialist commits a breach of code of conduct or the Terms
Conditions of the engagement excepted by him/her.
b. Commits anything which is detrimental to the interest of AAI.
2. AAI may terminate the engagement immediately without issuing any notice.
3. The Medical Consultant may terminate the engagement after giving one month advance
notice to AAI.
Application procedure:
Interested candidates are required to appear for walk-in-interview scheduled to be held on
28.01.2021 at 1200 hours in the O/o Executive Director, CATC with prescribed application form
along with advertisement, certificates and their testimonials including experience certificates and
Registration certificate (MCI) etc.

1. To attend OPD at CATC designated Medical Center as per prescribed duty ours.
6. To provide expert opinion about the appropriateness/reasonability and the cost of the indoor
medical treatment pertaining to various claims as and when the same is referred to
Consultant.
I hereby accept to adhere the above terms and conditions and duties & responsibilities.
1. The Medical Consultants shall observe, comply and obey the orders/instructions issued
from time to time by the AAI Management.
2. The Medical Consultants shall serve the AAI honestly & faithfully and show courtesy and
attention in all transactions.
3. The Medical Consultants shall use his utmost endeavor to promote the health of the AAI
beneficiaries.
4. AAI shall not be party to the dispute arises out of any medical negligence/lapse occurring
during the treatment rendered by the Consultant.
5. The Medical Consultants shall not solicit or accept any gift, commission or bonus in
consideration of or return for the referring or recommending AAI beneficiaries for the
treatment to outside medical agencies.
6. The Medical Consultants shall not outsource his services to the AAI.
7. Medical Consultants shall abide by any law relating to intoxicating drugs and drinks
enforced in the area.
8. No Medical Consultants shall indulge in any act of sexual harassment of any woman
employee/beneficiary of AAI and shall be strictly abide by the law of the land and the
rules/instructions issued by AAI time to time.
