Responses to a few repeated queries regarding the starting of on-campus course
instruction from 21 October 2021.
1) The date and time related to reporting at the campus?
Date - 21st October '21 Time - 9 am or as instructed by the class teacher/HOD of individual departments 2) Do we need to come early to campus for labs and quarantine? Reporting early for labs will be instructed, if required, by the class teacher/HOD of individual departments. Quarantine rules will be based on Governmental COVID Protocol at that time. 3) What all documents do we need to submit at the time of reporting? As of now, a) RTPCR Negative Report valid within 72 hours of reporting on 21st October @9 am irrespective of where you are coming from. b) At least one vaccination completed certificate. c) NOC from parents on their ward attending offline instructions at the campus. 4) Can those who are below 18 and not eligible for vaccine attend offline classes? Those who are not eligible for vaccination as they are below 18, should await further confirmation more towards the reopening date. Nevertheless, all such students whenever you come should compulsorily carry an age proof document over and above the other required documents. Necessary arrangements should be made to take the vaccination immediately after you become eligible and the certificate should be duly submitted. 5) Is it compulsory to attend offline classes? The hybrid classes will continue until the normalization of COVID-19 pandemic or until further notice. While the University strongly recommends attending on-campus course instruction, attending the course instruction on campus is not mandatory for students who are unable to attend it. They can continue to attend online course instruction until further notice. 6) Can online/hybrid students appear for online exams? The query from those students who cannot join the offline instructions regarding facility for online exams will be addressed more towards the time of End Semester Examination. Any further requirement of documents or change in schedule, rules and regulations will be intimated over a circular (and not over personal email to each student) and later the same will be uploaded to your KP for ready reference.
