The diagram below illustrates how to produce a lead pencil

In general, it is a man-made linear process which includes two

major stages starting with planting seeds to mature trees and
ending with wood being used to produce lead pencils. The first
stage involves supplying wood for the process and the second
one deals with chemical treatment and machines.

At the first stage, seeds are transplanted, then 4 months later

they are replanted and take 3 years to grow up to grow up.
After that, trees are thinned in order to facilitate growth and cut
down for manufacturing pencils.

The next stage is treating with the wood. The wood form the trees
are carved in to slats, pumped gule and sticks of black lead.
Subquently, a new slat is put above, heat and pressing machine are
used for melting the glue and sticking the slats firmly together. Next,
they use a cutting machine to cut the slats in order to produce
individual pencil. At the final step, pencils are painted, sharpened,
stamped and packaged for consumers.
