Job Level / Description: - Vice President / Associate Vice President

Job Purpose: -

● Plan and advise the right active IT Infrastructure technology to be

deployed for Business Applications and End User Services in line with
the defined architecture and technology trends.
● Establish process and governance of IT Infrastructure Operations to
ensure availability and performance of Business Applications and End
User services.
● Plan and Implement DR (Disaster Recovery) infrastructure and
Establish processes to test DR procedures.
● Lead the IT Infrastructure landscape integration and consolidation in
line with the overall IT consolidation and adhering to end state IT
architecture.

Key Result Areas: -

● Evaluate and recommend the right technology for IT Infrastructure
Cloud, Software defined Data Centre, Servers, Storage, Network,
Middleware and Databases in line with the architecture and
technology trends.
● Evaluate and recommend the right technology for End user services
like Laptops/Desktops, E Mail, File and Print.
● Forecast and Plan for the right capacity of It Infrastructure to deliver
the business services as per the SLAs defined.
● Define requirements for software assets Inventory, End User
Computing and ensure compliance of licenses by regular
measurements and audits.
● Plan and implement DR as per the RPO (Recovery Point objective) and
RTO (Recovery Time objective) requirements of business. Ensure the
SLAs for RPO and RTO are met by conducting DR Drills as per policies
defined
● Implement IT process and policies for Crisis Management, Disaster
Management, and talent management.

Core Competencies / Knowledge Experience: -

● This role requires competency in Server Management, Data
Management, Storage Management, Network Management,
Middleware management, End User Services Management, IT Service
Management, Disaster recovery management and Vendor
management, IT Procurement.
● The person in this role should be knowledgeable in areas of Server
Hardware, Operating systems, Databases, Storages, Virtualisation,
Cloud computing, Monitoring and automation Tools , middleware , DR
tools , DR replication technologies, Open Source Technologies, Virtual
 Private Networks, MPLS, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load Balancers,
Software defined Data centre, Software defined storage, SD-WAN,
Software defined Network , E Mail, File and Print services.
● The person should be knowledgeable in Delivery of End User Services
Hardware and Software asset management.

Must Have Technical and Professional Qualifications: -

● The Person Must have knowledge of ISO27001 & PCI-DSS Standards
adhering to IT Infrastructure.
● VMware vSphere, vSAN Knowledge is must, vCF & NSX Would be
Addon Advantage.
● Person Must have Experience of Managing Operating systems Like
Linux, Windows.
● Desired Certifications:- Any Of the Following -> RHCE, AWS, VCP
Desired Experience: -
● The Person Should have 12+ Years of Experience in relevant domain.
● The Person Should have 4+ Years of Experience with Team
Management.
