Thisstudy isexpectedtobeusefulforteachingandlearningEnglish.
Theoretically,thisstudywillenrichtheoriesonteachingspeakingwith films.
Professionally,thisstudy willbeusefulfortheteachersingetting knowledgeof
variousmethodsinteaching speaking skillsusingfilmsto helpthestudentslearn
speakingskillinmoreinterestingway. Andforpracticalmatters,thisstudywill beuseful
forstudents in order to motivatein learningspeaking.

The methodinthisresearchisclassroom actionresearchwherethe teacher
conductedsomeclassroomactivities tosolveclassroomprobleminorder to
improvetheirinstructionalquality andexaminetheeducationaltheoriesinthe
practiceand real life (Kunandar, 2008).
Classroomactionresearchconsistsoffourphasesnamely plan,action,
observeand reflect(KemmisandMcTaggart,1988ascitedinBurns,2010). The phases
willbedescribedin a picturebelow.
Thepopulationofthestudy iseleventhgradesseniorhighschoolstudents,
majoring insocialprogram.Itwasconductedinoneclassthatconsistsof30 students as
thesample.
