In your own assessment, what are the TOP THREE (3) possible HR TRENDS in the
Philippines this 2021? Explain your answers in a 5-10 sentences.

In the current situation of the COVID-19 crisis, the top three (3) possible HR trends

in the Philippines this 2021 is: (1) the search for the anti-fragile personality, (2) the

hybrid office, and (3) the increasing risk of detachment. To assess, the anti-fragile

personality is needed in situations that are uncontrollable and stress-inducing. This trend

is a concept that highlights resilience to overcome adverse conditions such as the

pandemic. Equally important is the hybrid office wherein the workplace is personalized

for the employees. Through open spaces and conducive work environments, workers can

maintain a proper distance due to the virus and at the same time, carry out necessary

tasks. Lastly, the increasing risk of detachment is a possible HR trend in the Philippines

since “working from home” is encouraged by many organizations. It is vital that an

employee can maintain connected to work despite the distance and simultaneously,

balance their personal life with their work life.
