    INTERPRETATION:
    NEGATIVE -RNA specific to SARS-COV-2 (COVID-19) was not detected in the specimen or less than detection limit.
    POSITIVE -RNA specific to SARS-COV-2 (COVID-19) was detected in the specimen.
    INDETERMINENT -Target is inconclusive. Repeat sample is recommended.
    Comments : COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by the virus strain “severe acute respiratory syndrome
    coronavirus 2”(SARS-CoV-2). The virus is a single stranded positive sense RNA virus which is detected by
    real time PCR(Open system).

    DISCLAIMER:
    1. The kits used in this COVID-19 testing are approved by ICMR/USFDA.
    2. Improper specimen collection, handling, storage and transportation may result in false negative results.
    3. The report represents only the specimen received by the laboratory.
    4. A negative result does not rule out the possibility of COVID-19 infection. This is influenced by presence
    of inhibitors,mutations and insufficient RNA specific to SARS-CoV-2. A repeat sample is suggested if clinically
