Users Story: Sonic Computer Shop and Services

Sonic Computer Shop and Services is a Computer Renting Shops. Many people, particularly
students, visit computer shop to conduct research, complete projects and assignments, and so
on. We also provide services like print, photocopy, Xerox, tarpaulin printing, etc. The shop was
headed by Adrian Lee and Rina Lee and managed by John Timothy.

Scenario #1 Internet Services

A customer will go to the Sonic Computer Shop and services through walk in. Timothy at the
server will ask what services the customer wants. When the client wants an internet service by
renting a computer, Timothy will ask the customer what PC number the client wants and the
duration of the computer will be rent. Then customer chooses the 3 hours duration for using
internet services. The customer will pay cash for the time that depends on the total hrs. used at
the internet services. Then after 3hrs the client was times up for the assigned duration for the
Internet Services.

Scenario #2 Printing Services

A customer will contact the server through walk-ins, emails or chat regarding what kind of
service they will want, in this scenario Printing Services. The server will then check if the file is
in printable format and double-check if the customer is satisfied with the given document. The
server then checks if the printer is ready for the printing (check the ink level, power, paper count
etc.) then proceed with the printing process. After the printing is done, the server then labels the
price based on how much ink is consumed during the process and how many pages are printed.
Once the customer is satisfied, the server will list down the transaction in their database.

Scenario #3 Power Outage & Internet Lost

There were two customers who came, one to print through a flash drive and the other to rent a
computer. After a few hours the power went out and the internet connection was lost — the
server immediately handled the customers and asked if the person who rented the computer
wanted to continue or refund the remaining time. If the customer wants to continue renting the
computer, he needs to wait until the power goes back and if not, he'll refund what he paid
depending on the time he used. After a while the power came back on, the server will
immediately took care of the printer because the internet wasn't needed in printing.
