THE MARCOS ADMINISTRATION (1965-1972)
- Ferdinand Marcos became the Philippines' 10th President after winning the presidential election in 1965. Growing industrialization and the construction of strong infrastructure across the country, including as the North Luzon Expressway and the Maharlika Highway, were trademarks of his first term. Marcos accomplished this by establishing a cabinet made up primarily of technical experts and intellectuals, as well as raising military funds and enlisting troops to assist with building. Marcos also constructed more schools and learning institutions across the country than any of his predecessors combined. - - When did he become a president? - Why/Fall of the Dictatorship - When and how did he die -
