Learned Government Advocate Mr. Debalay Bhattacharjee waived notice on behalf of the respondents. Learned Government Advocate is directed to file a response indicating as to what steps have been taken to provide adequate teachers for the two schools located in Sonamura Sub-Division and Khowai Sub-Division respectively where students and parents had to come and demonstrate demanding requirement of filling up for shortage of teachers. It is stated in those articles that these demands are long pending and the teachers have not been provided for which reason the students had to come and hold a rally along with their parents. Accordingly, the State is directed to file an affidavit within a period of one week from today about the present situation in the said two schools and what steps it has taken in regard to meeting the allegedPage 2 of 2 shortfall specifically in teachers in the said two schools and other facilities that are prerequisites for the said institutions.
