ZOMATO

This data says about all the hotels which are connected with Zomato network and their
ratings by the customers and price for two members.

Problems Addressed:
 Lack of details about the pricing of the hotels. The analysis about the ratings by the
customers and the price pattern that the hotels are following based on the rating.
 The analysis about the ratings of the customers.

3Vs
Volume: We have huge amount of data which should be analysed like we have around 9552
hotels.
Velocity: The data was updated is periodic in nature as it is generated only when the new
hotels are added.
Variety: Even though the data consist of only structured data it had lot of verity kinds of
scales like ratings and price.

Challenges Faced:
In order to analyse the data, we may face some problems Since the volume of data is high.

 It is difficult to find the specific data which need to be analysed since the volume of
data is high.
 Linking the location of hotel and the prices to analyse the data.

Potential insights
 The analyse will be helpful for the hotels to price the varieties.
 It will be helpful for the new hotels to find their locations.
 It gives new insights to the customers to have a better knowledge about the pricing
strategy according to the location and to know about the ratings by the customers.
