The Gospels: A Reflection

What I have found most interesting in these gospels is the take on Jesus’ life that each author
had. Some had very similar stories/parables almost identical to one another (like Mark and
Matthew), but at the same time they all had their own spin on his life and is story in which God
had sent his one and only son as the suffering servant to suffer and die for eternal salvation.
Within these gospels I like how when telling Jesus’ story each author was able to paint us a
picture and tell his story as if we were actually there. Sometimes reading the bible and reading
scripture is hard to comprehend and understand simply because of how they speak, but I found
these gospels to be very easy to follow along with. I think it was beneficial that we were able to
read all four of the gospels as well.
