person in need? How does your prayer help other persons in their needs as well? Explain with
your own experiences of a prayer you made for another person in need and how it helped the
other person. Or, what observations did you have on how prayer helps persons?
Similar with the miracle through prayers of St. Eugene, yes it is important to pray also
for another person in need. Praying for one another removes our isolation. Her prayer did not
change the situations that I was praying about, but it changed my perception of feeling alone in
the situation. We all have struggles that cause us to feel isolated. When we share our pain it
invites someone else into the sacred space of our heart. When we hear the emotions of the heart
of someone we love, the reflex should be to take those concerns to God in prayer. When we pray
for someone else it draws us closer in relationships. Praying for your spouse, child, or friend
helps them to see how much you love them. Almost no one you meet will decline being prayed
over. Offering to pray for someone is a free and powerful gift you can give to anyone you meet. I
always pray for the good of people around, praying for their silent battles that they never tell me
about that they will overcome it with God on their side. Those who choose to pray find
personalized comfort during hard time that is my observation on how prayer helps people.
