What important event in your life can you say was accomplished through your participation in

a good community? Explain.

The important event in my life that I can say was accomplished through my

participation in a good community was when I was a member of the Christian group in our

church which is called the Youth for Christ. Being a member of the YFC helped me and other

youths to be in the right path at a young age. It taught us the importance of the relationship

with God, how to become a good servant of God, to spread the goodness of the Lord and

many more. As a member of the Youth for Christ community, I experienced helping others

who are in need. We created donation drive activities for our Lumads, Sikad or habal-habal

drivers, victims of the bagyong Yolanda, victims of the Marawi siege, victims of the Taal

Volcano eruption, victims of the Corona Virus 2019, and many more. These said examples of

my participation as a member of the YFC community had helped me to become an inspiration

and good role model in our society especially individuals at my age. We are taught at the

church about the Gospel of the Lord, how to be a better human, to become an instrument of

God for others, importance of prayer, building your relationship with God, and etc. Even in

our small donation drive, it is a big help to the said victims because what matters the most is

humanity. It is said in the Bible that you should love others as you love yourself. Be devoted

to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.
