Preventing Falls and Lifting Safely

□ Preventing falls □ Keep lifting simple and painless


Describe three ways to prevent falls. Demonstrate proper lifting technique.
Why are shiny floors dangerous?

Keep the floor clean and dry. Mop before peak periods so
that the floor can dry.

Clean up any spills right away. Use a damp mop (not a wet
one) or a paper towel to promote rapid drying of the floor.
