Dear Student,
Greeting from Training Ship Rahaman. We hope you all are well & taking good care of yourself and family
members in this COVID-19 pandemic.
We are going to conduct online Entrance Test on 30-October-2021 at 11 AM (Do not come to the
Campus)
All the process required for this exam will be mailed to you shortly with exam link.
The online software programme is AI (Artificial Intelligence) based and has AI proctoring i.e. if anybody tries to
give exam through unfair means it will raise the flag to us remotely on our computer or stop your exam
AI proctoring will check:
a) If you are opening any other window in your laptop or mobile phone.
b) If you are keeping any book and looking at the book (through camera)
c) If somebody is prompting you for answers (microphone will detect)
So please give exam fairly and if detected by AI proctoring report that you are using unfair means in exam,
paper will be disqualified, please note.
Requirement for exam.
1) PC/ Laptop with web cam please note
2) Exams is time based, 1 hr 45 minutes for GP Ratings
3) No negative marking.
If for technical reason exam cannot be conducted, then we will inform you in advance before entrance exam
Entrance examination will comprise of one combined paper in English (50 Marks), Mathematics (30 Marks) and
General Knowledge (20 Marks). Paper will be of 1 hours 45 minutes.
Eligibility Criteria
1) Indian National
2) a) Pass with aggregate 40% marks in 10th Standard with Science, Mathematics as subjects.
b) The candidates must have secured minimum 40% marks in English in 10th standard exam.
OR
a) Pass in 2 years I.T.I course form Govt. Approved Institute with minimum 50% aggregate marks in final year.
b) the candidate must have secured minimum 40% marks in English in 10th standard exam.
Note - The candidate must have passed the 10th standard from a recognized board.
3) Part time or distance learning or correspondence course or any combination of these will not be
considered.
4) Age not more than 25 yrs. & not less than 17.5 years on the date of commencement of training. 5 years age
relaxation for SC/ST, 3 years for Non-creamy layer OBC and 2 years for candidates holding a degree or diploma
certificate.
5) Physical standards: As per Merchant Shipping (Medical Examination) Rules, 2000 and Merchant Shipping
(Medical Examination Amendment Rules, 2016 as per DG approval doctors.
6) Course fees once paid, will not be refunded or transferred to any other course and no communication will be
entertained in this regard.
