Essay 1 Reflection Questions

1. In 1301 I learned how to structure my paragraphs correctly and how to create a good

thesis statement also I used ethos in my paper. I learned how to cite my sources in

1301 and I also learned how to research from my Univ class.

2. What I did not use in this essay was pathos and logos since they were not needed. I

did not put anything else I have learned from another class into this essay.

3. I finally learned how to properly research for articles and other texts and then to cite

them.

4. I think what I learned in this essay will be applicable to other classes. For example,

for my other classes we always have to do research and then in one of my classes we

do experiments.

5. I think it helps us become more creative as writers because we have to create out own

topic and then we have to make an experiment with it. It will help me be more

creative on what to write in the future.

6. My writings strengths are putting a lot of detail in my writings and how my sentences

are structured. One of the writing weaknesses is that at first I did not create a strong

thesis statement. Yes, my strengths and weaknesses were the same.

7. The most challenging aspect of this essay was to do your own research and to find

articles on your topic. It did take me a while to find articles but I found them
eventually. The least challenging was to come up with our own topic. Since we get to

pick our own topic and do an experiment on it I did not have any trouble writing this

paper.
