Stakeholder mapping can be defined as the process of finding out key stakeholders involved

in a project. The process identifies all individuals who have interest in a project outcome.

Stakeholder Mapping is done according to two levels namely:

a. The Level of Interest

b. The Level of Influence

The Level of Influence: it means stakeholders have power in setting and modifying project

requirements. On the other hand,

The Level of Interest: it means that stakeholders are affected by the project outcome but they

do not have any power to influence project requirements.

As regard Tidal Lagoons stakeholder Mapping, it can be categorized in this following format.
a. The stakeholders with the High Level of Interest and High Level of Influence, we

Manage Closely.

b. The stakeholders with a High Level of Influence and Low-Level Interest, we Keep

Satisfied

c. The stakeholders with a Low Level of Influence and Low Level of Interest, we

Monitor.

d. The stakeholders with a High Level of Interest and Low Level of Influence, we Keep

Informed.
