Activity 4: Finishing a Statement

Continue the following sentences with your ideas!

4. If they had stayed up so late last night, they would have woken up late.

Activity 5: Can we mix the conditionals in one statement?

1. You want to take a picture but your phone camera is broken and you left your camera at
home.

 If I hadn’t left my camera at home, I would take a picture.

2. You’ve eaten too much and now you feel sick.

 I wouldn’t feel sick if I hadn’t eaten too much.
