Tamiu Golf team

Introduction
The Tamiu men’s golf team is conform by 8 guys, an assistant coach, and the head coach. They
represent Tamiu throughout the year in different competitions. This essay will talk about how
does everything works inside the group and what is it that makes this team special.

The players of this team have a lot of things in common, however, the majority come
from different cities and backgrounds. The only thing they all have in common is Tamiu and
their love for the game of golf. What do the participators have in common?

 What brings the team together
The team goalss…
Our principal way of communicating is an app call band. In this app we have a group
chat in which the coaches share the plan for the day and week. Also we can share inspirational
quotes or videos.

Tournaments
The team will play around 8-10 toutnamnts per year. The majority of them will be on
the spring.
For every tournament, the coaches pick 5 out of the 8 guys and only those five guys travel to
the specific tournament. The team usually drives to the tournaments but sometimes they fly.
The whole process of the tournaments starts in the classroom. They all have to make sure they
let their teachers know they will be gone to a tournament and show a letter from their athletic
advisor which states that the specific player will be missing due to a competition. Then, the
team gets ready with their equipment and uniforms.

In conclusion, The Tamiu men’s golf team is a very close and unique group because of the close
relationship they all have even though it is a new team and they come from different places.
