1. Make a list of the things you will look for in your essay when you proofread.
2. What day and at what time will you set aside to proofread your essay?
3. Who will you ask to read your essay before you submit it? What day and time have you set this reading
for?
 

1. Some of the things I will look for in my essay after I proofread it are, find the main
point, identify the purpose and readers, any grammar mistakes, evaluate it as a
reader and not as a writer.
2. I set Tuesday, September 28 as the day to proofread my essay. I will proofread it
several times during the day.
3. I will go to the writing center and I will also ask my roommate to read it. Tuesday,
September 28 would be the day I set for this.
