What I Have Learned

1. A communication method that can be utilized to communicate with another person is known
as speech context. It's determining what technique the person employed to communicate with
various target audiences.
2. As a senior high school student or just as a person in a variety of situations, having good
communication skills has various advantages. It will be incredibly advantageous to my personal
growth. It has the potential to help me develop my social and listening skills, as well as my
confidence in expressing my thoughts, opinions, and ideas. It also teaches me how to engage
and converse with a larger number of people, which helps me grow as a person.

3. Yes, I agree that the context of one's speech can affect one's behavior toward oneself and
others because the right use of tones, word choice, and the content of one's speech are all
closely tied to the audience. If we are giving a speech about our homeland, for example, we
should be sympathetic and compassionate to the people's problems.

4. The figure of speech context that I find easy is the intrapersonal and it's just you, and the type
that I find difficult is the public mass because you have to be transparent and also entertain a
large audience. That's why I find it difficult because there are so many variables that can impact
your performance in this type of speech context, such as ambient noises.

5. Reading is one of my favorite ways to develop my skills because it may broaden your
knowledge and vocabulary while also keeping you educated. It can also boost your critical
thinking skills by stimulating your mind.

What I Can Do

INTRAPERSONAL COMMUNICATION

-Intrapersonal communication refers to the process by which an individual communicates with

oneself, serving as both a sender and a receiver of messages, and includes the use of
unspoken words to engage in conscious self-talk and inner speech.
EXAMPLES
1. When you feel lonely and unwanted by the people around you, there is a voice within you that
says, "It's okay, you have yourself."
2. When you told yourself that you wouldn't eat much today because someone said you looked
overweight, and that made you unhappy.
3.When there is a special occasion at our home and I am afraid of going due to my social
anxiety and shyness.

INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION

-The exchange of information between two or more persons is known as interpersonal

communication. It's also a field of study that looks into how people use verbal and nonverbal
clues to achieve a variety of personal and interpersonal goals.
EXAMPLES
1. I comforted my friend who was feeling depressed due to his/her studies.
2. I ask myself if this guy has a crush on me or I'm just being ambitious/feeling.
3. My friend and I have a debate because of the politics.

PUBLIC COMMUNICATION

-When a person or group of people gathers and shares information with a group of people in
order to deliver a message on a specific issue, this is known as public communication. It's one
of the most important forms of communication, and it's usually done with a specific goal in mind.
EXAMPLES
1. A speech you give in front of your class.
2. You deliver a graduation speech to your batch.
3. You participate in singing contest watched by a number of people.

MASS COMMUNICATION

-The process of imparting and distributing knowledge to wide parts of the public via mass media
is known as mass communication. It is most commonly associated with various forms of media
since its technologies are utilized for the spread of information, which includes journalism and
advertising.
EXAMPLES
1. You are a student journalist articulating your stand on current issues through the school's
newspaper.
2. Reading in twitter about the issue in Covid 19.
3. Watching televisions to know the current issues in the country.
