Religion is not only a culture but a way of life, Religion is defined as the believe in existence of
a supreme being ,In most cultures the universal name of the supreme being is god though in
each culture and language each have a specific and unique name. Religion in different cultures
uses and recognizes specific symbols as the representatives of their gods .In writing when such
symbols appear they bring out the genre of religion. For instance in the figure above when
referencing to Christianity it would represent the angles as they are believed to have wings and
halo on top of there head. There are many religions across the word and each have specific set of
believes and different culture, writers need to learn this general cultures and use the correct
symbol when the intention is to show that a character belongs to a given religion with clarity to
avoid misrepresentation that may cause conflicts at the long end. Writers should recognize
religion and its roles in different society and with that get to understand how to use a given
religion as a genre in their writing to create a strong connection with readers from the religion.

Religion as a genre can be brought out in writing through different means other than symbols,
The use of names of the religion itself have a significant impact in meaning and the reader will
quickly grasp the concept behind mentioning the religion name, Other than use of names the
writer can choose to mention specific countries in the world which are known to have majority of
a given religion. Writers can also prefer to use images of specific gods such as Budha to refer to
the Hindu religion this would make it easier for the reader to recognize the character as a Hindu.

In conclusion writers should learn different tricks and techniques they can use to bring out
religion as a style in writing which would Cleary outline the religion of the character

POLITICS

Politics can be defined as all the

activities involved in the governing of people, each political party has their own logo and
symbols in which they are associated with, in most scenarios the logo will take a form that will
indicate hard work, transparency and dedication to the people this will positively influence the
general public to be in favor with the political party thus vote for the leaders in t5he political
party.

Politics as a genre is brought out in writing by use of such symbols and logos belonging to
known political parties enabling the reader to identify the genre as political. Writers can also
prefer to associate the character with a renown political leader to show similarity in
characteristics either positively or negatively this help to bring out the accurate image in the
reader s’ mind of the exact characteristics of the character. Writer can also choose to just put up
the image of the character holding a flag and addressing a crowd , this will in turn reflect the
leader as influential and loved by the general public .The genre of politics can also be
represented by mentioning the names of individual political parties ,witers can even bring more
clarity by mentioning the name of the countries and political terms such as governor ,senator
this wi9ll aid the reader to identify the genre with much ease.

In conclusion writers should do a thorough research when it comes to politics to ensure they
depict the correct image when referring to certain political parties and politicians. Writers should
be able to maneuver with images and words to bring out the genre politics in their writing.
