BRIEF INTRODUCTION
As a Torch Plan hi-tech company, Zhuzhou Southern
Valve Co.,Ltd was set up in May 1996.We have different
kinds of valves, including hydraulic control valve,
eccentric semi-ball valve, flow-pressure regulating
valve,butterfly valve, ball valve, soft sealing gate valve,
hi-middle pressure valve, air valve,duckbill rubber check
valve, and backflow checker etc., which have been widely
used in hydropower industry, municipal watersupply,
w a s t e w a t e r t r e a t m e n t , p e t r o c h e m i c a l i n d u s t r y,
metallurgical industry, thermal power station and other
fields. Till now, we have 5 holding subsidiaries and 1
participant subsidiary, covering castings, pump and
valve, actuator etc., and forming a integrated industry
chain.
With a strong technology and manufacturing capacity,
we have the pride to set up the Hunan Province Valve
Quality Supervision and Inspection Station, New Valve
Technology Center and the Provincial Enterprise
Technology Center in our company.The product quality is
keeping improved by means of the design and optimize
system, which is composed by advanced 2-d design, 3-d
modeling, finite element analysis, flow field simulation
and analysis software of hydraulic transition process.In
valve industry, we have compiled 10 standards as editor
in chief, and 28 standards as main participant. We have
taken charge of the development of 5 National Key New
Product Projects, and presided over 2 National Torch
Plans, one NationalInnovation Foundation Key Project,4

○Usage
Installed in the the pump discharge in various boost pump
station such as municipal, high-rise building, steel,
petroleum, chemical, natural gas, food, pharmacy, power,
nuclear power, hydroelectric power and irrigation
industries, the valve functions as combination of three
valves such as motorized valve, check valve and surge
suppressor. The valve features in minimum failure, tightly
closing and reliable for surge control, which not only
ensures the safety and reliability of water supply, but also
satisfies the mechanization and automation demands of
water supply engineering equipments.

○Features
◎High safety and reliability: this valve has three methods
for minimizing up-surge with initial rapid-closing,
followed slow-closing and one cavity for energy-absorbing,
all the valve operations are interlocked and less possible
malfunction.
◎No manual operation control: when the pump is started
or stopped, the driving force is the pressure difference
between upstream and downstream the valve, therefore,
making the valve operate automatically.
◎No need for professional tuning: since the operation of
the valve will never be affected by the pump head and
flow fluctuation, it can be widely adopted.
◎Long service life and almost maintenance free.
◎Energy-saving: the head loss is less because the pressure
in the low chamber from the inlet can sustain the weight
of the small disc assembly and its linked diaphram and

○Usage
This kind of valves could be used in low/mid-pressure
pipes in petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy,
electricity and water supply, playing the role of
regulating and shutting off.
○Features
◎Fully straight through bore design, big flow zone, and
small flow resistance.
◎Top-access structure, which could be repaired on line.
◎when opening, the crown is hidden in the spherical
chamber of the valve body to avoid brushing, thus having
a longer service life;
◎When opening, the spherical crown is progressing against
the sealing surface tightly to get rid of the sediment, thus
realizing reliable sealing;
◎Dual-eccentric design; when opening, the spherical crown
is separated from the sealing surface quickly, with shorter
frictional distance; when closing, the crown could enter
into the sealing surface fast with smaller friction;
◎With the change of the sealing location after long time
service, the spherical surface will keep moving forwards
accordingly, to make the fixed sealing seat in a tightly-
pressed state;

Duck-Bill Rubber Check Valves
○Usage
Used at the end of pipelines in sewage drainage systems
and can be applied in such fields as city floodwater
drainage, stormwater drainage, seashore drainage to
prevent backflow. When line pressure inside the valve is
higher than the backpressure outside the valve, the duck-
bill is forced open to let water out. When the backpressure is
higher than the inner line pressure of the valve, the duck-bill
automatically shuts off, and any backflow is prevented.
