Cognitive

The following three cognitive levels are based on a modified version of Bloom's taxonomy
(Taxonomy of Educational Objectives, Bloom et al., 1956). Bloom's taxonomy describes six
cognitive categories: Knowledge, Comprehension, Application, Analysis, Synthesis, and
Evaluation.

What are the 6 cognitive levels?


There are six levels of cognitive learning according to the revised version of Bloom's
Taxonomy. Each level is conceptually different. The six levels are remembering,
understanding, applying, analyzing, evaluating, and creating.
