Discord, is it Better Than Skype or Teamspeak?

By Nate Moore

Discord is a free online and downloadable service for people to talk with friends and play games.

Discord is one of many services out that is for gamers. It slowly outgrew Skype and Teamspeak

as one of the primary chatting and voice call services.

The founders created the Discord logo, and it has stuck since the beginning.

Discord is an app that took problems from other apps that gamers use. One of the problems that

are a problem was not seeing messages from the past in the present. Skype has a problem with

this where messages will delete after thirty days. So when using Skype, you can send messages

to others, but when you go back and want to see them, the words disappear. Discord has people

who have used it for a long time, and the direct messages are hilarious. "I use to use Skype, but

then when I saw that my messages didn't get deleted, I stopped using it," said Bill Jinkins, a

college student.

One of the other perks of Discord was servers. Teamspeak, another familiar gamer voice chatting

service, had it where you could own a TS3 server. Unfortunately, those servers cost money, and

when you disconnected from the server, you would lose the messages that were in the chat.

Discord has it where you can set up your servers, but those servers are free and don't require your

own money.
Discord is one of the most accessible software to set up. This is because the settings are keen for

anyone and everyone to figure out how to set up. So, for example, Skype has it where you have

to find out people's emails, and ts have it where you need to go through many setting tabs.

Discord will rock your boat with its easy accessibility. You can easily connect with people and

learn new things. Download Discord today for a better chatting experience!
