Activities completed/in-progress for the week
• Rebar tying & In-situ concreting Fender column 1st, 2nd & 3rd is in progress.

• Shifting & Installation of fender column grid- D is in progress.

• Rebar tying for in-situ deck slab is in progress for A17-C17 to A18-C18.

• Precast concrete for approach slab long beam completed 2 nos & rebar tying is in progress.

• Removal of excess earth & Slope profiling for bank protection between grid A14-A16 to B14-B16 is in progress.

• Laying of stones for bank protection between grid A11-A13 is in progress.

• Procurement of stones for bank protection works is in progress.

• Excavation for Retaining wall completed up to Grid 12.

• Rubble soiling & PCC for retaining wall raft completed for 25m length (up to 50m).

• Rebar tying & RCC for retaining wall raft is in progress for 25m length. (up to 50m).

• Rebar tying for wall is in progress for retaining wall.

• Mobile harbour cranes dispatched from Kolkata port & 2nd & 3rd lot received at site on 19.02.18,20.02.18 & 24.02.18 with crane
cabin (77% crane parts received at site).

 Delay in release of payment for RA bill:
Payment to be released by IWAI for RA bill 13 (Dec’17) & & RA bill 14 (Jan’18) Submitted vide
letter AFCONS/4551/MY/210 dated06.01.18 & AFCONS/4551/MY/229 dated 07.02.18 .
 Delay in Bank Protection work:
IWAI to expedite the approval of revised drawing for berthing area submitted vide transmittal
AFC-IWAI-4551-TRS-0066 dated 23.10.2017 & clarification submitted by vide letter
AFCONS/4551/MY/195 dated19.12.17, AFCONS/4551/MY/217 dated 17.01.18,
AFCONS/4551/MY/227 dated 05.02.18 & AFCONS/4551/MY/232 dated 15.02.18.
 Gangway & pontoon arrangement :
IWAI approved the revised GAD drawing submitted incorporating comments vide letter
