Goal 1:

By the end of this semester, it is my goal to improve my expertise on quality standard 1, specifically the

knowledge of my content area. My goal is to demonstrate my expertise in social studies by passing my

praxis exam before October 1st and reinforcing my skills through instruction. I will know that I have

achieved this goal when I have a score of at least 150 following my testing.

Goal 2:

My goal by the end of this semester is to improve my expertise regarding quality standard 3, specifically

my ability to deliver effective instruction that reflects my understanding of varying levels of

development and processes of learning. My goal is to demonstrate my expertise by teaching multiple

effective lessons to my class and differentiating the material to meet the specific needs of my AP

students. I will know that I have achieved this goal by utilizing data-based instruction and measuring the

efficacy of my lesson through formative and summative assessments following my instruction.
