I, Rotson Rodrigues has completed my higher secondary education from central board of secondary

education. I was very much interested from my school days to contribute myself into a technical
stream, that requires both creativity and innovation skills. The automotive industry represents some
of the largest companies in the world, from car manufacturers to fuel specialists. I have a strong
desire to know more about what happens inside these machines and the reason behind their precise
and accurate working. So owing to my innate interest in the field of design and development of
various mechanical devices and equipments, I wish to pursue Mechanical Engineering Technician
from Canadore College.

The program Mechanical Engineering Technician provides comprehensive instruction in mechanical

engineering design, research and development. The program teaches to apply quality control and
quality assurance procedures to meet organizational standards and requirements. I will be educated
and trained to verify the specifications of materials, processes and operations to support the design
and production of mechanical components. After successful completion of this program, I will be
equipped with apt skills and knowledge to start my career in engineering firms, which was my
passion since childhood. Employment opportunities such as CAM Technologist, Mechanical
Engineering Design Technologist, Process Control Technician, Production Technician etc will be a
great choice for me to start up my career. Moreover in India, there is a wide scope for mechanical
engineering technician, BHEL, HPCL, HLL, NTPC, L&T are some of the known companies, where I can
try for employment.
