MECON Limited, a Miniratna Schedule “A”, Public Sector Enterprise under Ministry of Steel, Government Of
India and a Premier multi-disciplinary Engineering, Consultancy, Contracting and Project Management
Organization in the field of Metals & Non-Metals, Energy, Power, Oil & Gas and Infrastructure and allied
services is entering into a new Business Vertical – Operations and Maintenance (O&M) in its pursuit to expand
and augment its business horizon and exploring the new and diversified business opportunities.
MECON Ltd. is looking for manpower at all levels for appointment on Fixed Term Contract for Operation and
Maintenance of an Integrated Steel Plant of National Importance. The candidates who are having
experience in “Operation(s)/Maintenance” (O&M) activities/functions of one or more Steel Plant Units
generally in BF-BOF route integrated Steel Plant are invited to apply for this opportunities to utilise their
expertise towards a Steel Plant Project of National Importance.
THE BRIEF DETAILS OF REQUIREMENT ARE:

POST : At All Levels

DURATION OF ENGAGEMENT : 03 (three) years and on Fixed Term Contract.
PLACE OF POSTING : Nagarnar Iron and Steel Plant (NISP), Nagarnar, Jagdalpur (C.G.)
Experience in Operation & Maintenance Function(s) of one or more
units of Steel Plant in typical integrated steel plants.
The following main areas are included:
a. Raw Materials Management and
b. Compressed Air Plant
Handling System
c. Coke Oven and By-Products d. Lime and Dolomite Plant
e. Blast Furnace f. Rolling Mills
JOB PROFILE : h. Railway and Transportation
g. Sinter Plant Logistics/ Traffic and Raw
Materials Systems
i. Steel Making j. Laboratory
l. Water and Other Utilities
