Exercise 10

found very soon. Both men were taken to the police station where they were questioned
separately by a police officer. The two men were charged with burglary.

is being searched now. The children's descriptions will be used to catch the thief.

A UFO was seen in the sky above London last night. It was reported to the police. A helicopter

being looked now.

Exercise 13

A local jewellery shop was broken into yesterday. The show had just been locked up (by the
owner) when he was threatened with a gun. He was told to unlock the shop and give the
robber all the diamonds in the safe. He was tied up then. A search has been organized for the
robber. He is hoped to be found in a few days. The owner of the shop is being treated for
shock by doctors.

This picture was painted by my uncle. He has been offered a lot of money for it. The painting

the money, they will be told the truth/ the truth will be told to them. It was painted one
night while he was sleepwalking!
