Rules and Regulations for Survey Camp 2021

1. All students should have proper headwear (cap) and footwear (shoes) during the survey
work.
2. Students should leave the camp for survey- everyday by 6.30am and work up to 1.30pm
or till the day’s work is complete.
3. Attendance will be marked regularly at 6.00am and again 6.30 pm at the premises of the
camp.
4. Students will work according to the schedule of time table allotted for their respective
batch.
5. Instruments for the day’s work should be drawn on the previous evening between 7.00pm
and 9.00 pm.
6. Instruments drawn should be checked daily at the stores before leaving for the survey
work.
7. Each batch should have sufficient number of field books, levels books, drawing sheets,
required for survey work.
8. Solutions for field problems must be worked out for the whole batch in a separate note
book before executing them in the field.
9. Student should possess necessary: Drawing instruments, wooden and paper scales for
field and office work, and laptop with required software and other accessories for office
work.
10. Calculations, drawings etc. should be completed every day and should be submitted for
scrutiny daily between 7pm & 8pm and whenever called for.
11. Swimming or taking bath in tanks, ponds, streams etc. is strictly prohibited.
12. No student is allowed to leave the camp without obtaining prior permission from the
resident camp officer/Faculty in charge.
13. Students should work co-operatively for the progress of the batch work. Strict discipline
should be maintained both in the field and in the camp.
14. Smoking and playing cards are strictly prohibited in the Choultry.
15. Alcoholic drinks are strictly prohibited.
16. Students can make use of first aid kit available in the camp for any minor health
disorders.
17. Students should report immediately any major health disorders to the resident camp
officer for necessary guidance and action.
18. Students should strictly follow the Standard Operating Procedures of COVID-19.

rules and regulations of the camp. I hereby undertake that,
1. I will strictly abide by the rules and regulations and will not indulge in any activity which
disturbs smooth conduction of the camp or involve in discrediting the institution’s name
directly or indirectly.
2. If I am found indulging in any such activity, directly or indirectly, during the Survey
Camp, I may be penalized or punished appropriately as decided by the Camp Officer /
College Authorities.
3. In case of any such undesirable activity involving other students coming to my notice
during the camp, I shall inform the Camp Officer / College authorities immediately.

in any undesirable activity that will create nuisance or indiscipline during the period of
Survey Camp. If my ward is found to have engaged in any such activity, directly or
indirectly, he/she may be penalized / punished suitably as decided by college authorities.
