Throughout the course, we learned many great chapters and gained a lot of knowledge that is
essential to our future. In this essay, I would like to mention the summary of chapter 11, my approach examine
the knowledge in chapter 11, as well as the number of great lessons that I have learned from this chapter
Firstly, I would like to give a short summary of the key information of this chapter. There are two sections
in chapter 11.1: government as regulator, and section 11.2: government as provider. As regards to section 11.1,
there are three levels of government: federal, state, and local. The federal government runs the country. A
state government runs each state. Local governments run countries, cities, towns, and townships. Each
level of government oversees a different level of business. One of government's roles is to foster success
in our market economy. It does this by enacting laws for organizations and people to follow. Laws
protect competition, business agreements, and creative rights. They also help the government to regulate
the production process. In some cases, government must approve an item before it can be produced.
Moreover, section11.2 may provide lots of information about government as provider. There are three levels of

 Secondly, there are three methods that I certainly apply to research the entire concept in a book
chapter. These include finding out related information on digital platforms and on the Internet, skimming
a general overview of the material and scanning detailed ideas in the book, and then sharing my own
investigation with my partners. Firstly, the Internet and other applications may help me to discover
additional new knowledge about the topic which may not provide in the book chapter in order that I
understand clearly the concept. Secondly, the process of comprehensive concept occurs effortlessly when
I apply my reading skills such as skimming and scanning to get the information step by step. Finally, I
will collect the overall content and exchange my own research with partners in order to confirm my
correct statements and detect incorrect ones or if have to stay home, learn online, and do not have anyone
to exchange my knowledge, I may draw mindmap on my own.
In conclusion, after learning the book chapter, I supposed that the concept of chapter 11 lead me
to understand fundamentally how the government regulation may help businesses and our society to
develop. It demonstrates by the way of government enact the laws for their citizens to follow, therefore,
government plays an important role in fostering success in our market economy. Besides, government
also works as a provider. It provides public goods and services for the good of society, such as highways,
bridges, or national defense. And then the citizens paid for these public services with tax revenues
