Overview:
 The Focus of this unit is clothes and hobbies.

Specific Objectives:
1. The student will be able use the simple present and present continuous, can
& can´t.
2. The students will be able to describe hobbies.
3. The students will be able talk about clothes and shopping.
4. The student will be able to learn how to use there is / there are/ some / any /
preposition of place.
5. The students will be able to describe and talk about their home.
6. The students will be able to discuss traditional an unusual home.
7. The students will be able to discuss and talk about places they have visited.

Exercise 1

Rewrite the sentence using the given form of the verb can.

Exercise 3 Write about your abilities the things you can do using
both affirmative and negative form of the verb can. Write at least 8
sentences.
Example: I cannot sing but I can dance well.

Exercise 4 Paste a picture of a place. Describe the place using there
is and there are and as many descriptive adjectives and prepositions
as possible.

This is a photo of Lake Yojoa. There is a nice view from the dock, there are also two very nice
restaurants, there are two flamingo statues, people on the shore of the lake, many animals
swimming in the lake, a boat in the background and some binoculars on the shore
