Features:

64-bit support
The latest version of Finale sports several important new features. With Finale's
64-bit support, you'll enjoy more stable performance and compatibility with 64-bit
sound libraries, as well as being ready for future operating systems.

100+ new premium sounds

Already a superstar in the playback department, Finale now adds more than 100 new
premium sounds to its built-in Garritan library, including the world-class Concert
D grand piano from Garritan's acclaimed Personal Orchestra 5.

New ARIA Player

Finale's new ARIA Player lets you quickly and easily add instruments from the
Garritan library, and create a realistic soundstage with judicious applications of
Finale's superb onboard convolution reverb.

Transposed note entry

When you're inputting music into transposed staves, Finale's transposed note entry
feature plays the transposed pitch upon entry - as well as during playback.

ReWire support
Finale's new ReWire support lets you sync it with your DAW of choice. This is huge.
Press play in, say Digital Performer, and have both DP and finale play back in
perfect sync.

Improved Human Playback

Finale's improved Human Playback makes your compositions sound like humans are
performing them - and this cool feature now responds instantly the moment you press
play.

Tall time signatures

If the conductor misses a time signature change, it would be bad - which is why
tall time signatures are standard for studio scores. Finale has always been able to
display them, but they were a bit tricky to set up. Now they're easy.

Contoured dashed slurs

Finale has always offered dashed curves, but due to popular demand, MakeMusic has
added an additional contoured dash slur - and it looks fantastic.

Expanded MusicXML import and export

No more musical details "lost in translation." Finale's expanded MusicXML import
and export improves accuracy when you share your music with collaborators who use
other software.
