Ca urmare a site survey-ului efectuat la locatia datacenter Tenaris Calarasi suntem in masura sa va prezentam concluziile
noastre preliminare. Mentionam ca toate evaluarile si recomandarile s-au realizat pe baza standardelor si normativelor de proiectare si
realizare Datacentere ( Ansi/Bicsi 002 / 2014 – pentru United States and Internationa; EN 50600-X / 2015– Europe ) :
Following the site's survey conducted in Calarasi Tenaris datacenter location we are able to present
our preliminary conclusions. // As a result of the site survey conducted at the Tenaris Calarasi datacenter we
are able to present our preliminary conclusions. We mention that all the evaluations and recommendations
are based on the standards and norms of design and execution of Datacenter (Ansi / Bicsi 002/2014 - for
United States and International, EN 50600-X / 2015- Europe)

- Controlled environment: requires full rebuilt

o Aer conditionat – insuficient ca putere, fara redundanta, cu dese intreruperi functionare

o Air conditioning - not enough power, no redundancy, often operating interruptions

o Incaperea nu este pregatita pentru mediu controlat ( ferestre, acces soare in incapere etc )

o The room is not prepared for controlled environment (windows, sun room access etc.)
- Sisteme adiacente , Infrastructura standard Datacenter : necesar a fi refacute in totalitate

- Adjacent systems, Datacenter standard infrastructure: requires full rebuilt

o Nu exista sisteme electronice de securitate ( control acces, alarmare anti-efractie, supraveghere video, detectie
incendiu, stingere incendiu etc);
o There are no electronic security systems (access control, anti-theft alarm, video surveillance,
fire detection, fire extinguishing etc);
o Nu exista amenajari securitate fizica, proceduri acces ( usa acces metalica etc );

o No physical security design, no access procedures (metal access door etc.);

o Podea tehnologica total improprie, lipsa amenajari pentru caz de dezastru : pentru protectie anti-incendiu; lipsa
protectii cutremur si inundatii locale etc .
o Totally improper technological floor, lack of facilities for disaster situations: no fire protection,
lack of earthquake and local floods protection, etc
o Dulpurile rack – sunt total improprii pentru echipamente tip Datacenter
o Rack cabinets - are totally unsuitable for Datacenter type equipment
- Camera tehnica ( electrical room ) : dimensiuni total insuficiente ( < 10mp) pentru amplasarea unitatilor de echipamente si
infrastructura electrica necesare in camera tehnica;
- Technical room (Electrical room): Total insufficient dimensions (<10m² ) for the location of the
equipment units and the necessary electrical infrastructure in the technical room;
- Dimensiunile actuale Datacenter : aprox 35mp pe nivel inaltime de aprox. 2,5m – sunt considerate acceptabile.

Conclusions :
- “Datacenterul” actual trebuie refacut in proportie de 100%;

- Current Datacenter requires complete restoration

- In cazul amenajarii actualului datacenter – fara intreruperea functionarii lui – implica cateva dezavantaje majore – dintre care
amintesc :
- In the case of the present datacenter arranging - without operation interruption - implies some major
disadvantages - of which:
o Perioada de executie amenajari cu cel putin 30% mai mare ( datorita activitatilor suplimentare de pregatire lucrari,
mutari echipamente si rackuri etc , limitarilor activitatii personalului de executie etc ) si implicit costuri mai mari
( estimate minimal cu cel putin 10% mai mari );
o Execution period longer by at least 30% (due to additional work preparation activities, moving
equipment and racks etc., limitations of execution personnel activity etc) and implicitly higher
costs (minimum estimated at least 10% higher);
o Timpul downtime – de transfer al functionalitatii datacenter vechi catre cel nou – va fi mult mai mare ( realist de 2-3
zile ) ;
o The downtime - to transfer the functionality of the old Datacenter to the new one - will be much
higher (realistic for 2-3 days);
o Riscurile de intrerupere accidentala a functionarii datacenter sunt foarte mari si cu timp Down time extrem de greu
de estimat – datorita numeroaselor potentiale Single Point of Failure ( alimentare electrica, infrastructura date,
infrastructura echipamente, etc );
o The risks of accidental disruption of datacenter operation are very high and with extremely
difficult to estimate Down time - due to the numerous potential Single Point of Failure (power
supply, data infrastructure, equipment infrastructure, etc);

Se elimina toate dezavantajele mentionate anterior.
