 Created a web app for a large furniture company that enabled them to correctly allocate each purchased item on a
specific purchase order to an invoice that ordered that SKU, by synchronizing their DB2 system with our postgres
database, to create transparency and to control expectations for customers
 Employed test-driven development as well as pair programming, daily stand-ups, and weekly show-and-tells with the
customer to ensure a quality product that fits the changing needs of the company

 Developed an interdisciplinary, Black/Indigenous-pedagogically focused curriculum to be used with an artificial reality
lens, centered on the question “Should we continue to use synthetic indigo or go back to using real indigo?” to
encourage cross-discipline critical analysis, especially amongst non-white students
 Researched social-data platforms such as Are.na to develop a model of what an Are.na essay may look like, and to
create mini-assignments that ask students to think about how context and form are shaped through non-traditional
writing practices like data aggregation

A Walk in my Shoes Feed June 2021
 Manipulated Twitter API to create a Twitter “List” that includes all of the people a certain indicated user follows,
which the subject user can then view, with the goal of breaking down the silos and echo chambers of the Internet and
redefining how much control a user should have over what they see in their feed.

Facilitator August 2019
 Coordinated with the East Lansing Public Library Teen Specialist and other community members to put on the two-day
workshop for 6 students between the ages of 10-13 to give them the tools and skills they need for the modern maker
space and to spark a curiosity about how things work.

 Taught 120 students from 6th to 12th grade the fundamentals of computer-aided design (using Fusion
 360) and Arduino by guiding them through hands-on projects and lessons to ignite a life-long interest in
