Rimska cisterna Roman Cistern

Rimska cisterna, tzv. „Tamnica“ je objekt u sklopu arheološkog nalazišta

Colentum.

žeći pritom i slučajne nalaze mještana. Tom prilikom nađeni su ostaci arhitekture, stupova i arhitrava,
desetak ukrašenih kamenih ulomaka, po dva ulomka skulpture i natpisa. Nađeni su novci (npr. cara
Nerona) i ulomci tegula s radioničkim žigovima.

buildings, pillars and architraves, dozen decorative
stone fragments, two sculpture fragments and two inscription fragments. There were also finds of coins (from the period of the
emperor Nero and others) and fragments of tegulae with workshop stamps. Some of more interesting finds of local people were
pavement tiles and a golden angel sculpture. Unfortunately most of those finds can not be traced down.
