ACS Skill Assessment:

Breakdown
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is described as a
report submitted to the Australian Computer Society
(ACS) by people who wish to relocate to Australia to
start an ICT-related profession but do not have an ICT
degree or come from a non-IT background.
RPL is an evaluation method for Australian immigration
that evaluates a person’s current skill sets, knowledge,
and experience obtained via formal, non-formal, or
informal learning.
Why RPL Assessment?
To meet the business’s permit and administrative
requirements.
The ability to consolidate and approve grew as a
result of the experience.
Providing evidence to support advancement.
Putting capacities into a basic arrangement so that
forces may be transferred about to different

Reasons for RPL Rejection
To determine your ICT learning understanding and
skills, you must provide sufficient detail. Here are some
of the grounds for rejection:
Plagiarized content will result in exclusion from the
ACS community.
The RPL report would be dismissed if it contained
duplicate information or material from online
assets.
Inadequate knowledge about the job.
Your RPL Report will be rejected or assessed as
“Not reasonable due to the lack of experience” if
your work fails to fulfill the qualifying requirements.
Without any essential information, the job
description is vague.

You can prepare an RPL application by yourself. A
candidate has to fill the RPL form available on the ACS
