I.

True Israel
Israel, the recipients of adoption by God, the law, the patriarchs — God’s covenant
people of promise. Paul explains, there has always been a division between physical Israel and
the true Israel of God, between Abraham’s offspring and the children of Abraham, between the
children of flesh and the children of promise.
Within our church’s ministry, we have shared and guide many individuals about the word
of God. Many have received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Many have believed
upon Him. Many have encouraged to attend our church and join our ministry. However, from all
of these people, only few have continued to walk the path of serving God and following his
commandments. Because some may have believed, however, they are not doing things for
serving the Lord Jesus Christ.
For those who chose to continue, they have been following and serving by doing what is
said in the Bible and helping the ministry to be better. For example, our pastor is the one who
preaches and explains the word of God. We, the members have been assigned for our own
responsibility and part on serving the ministry. Some joins the choir, some are for song leading,
and many more.

II. True Seed of Abraham

There is the seed of Abraham physically (descendants of Abraham according to the
flesh); and there is the seed of Abraham spiritually (those who, like Abraham, have faith in
God). The seed of Abraham can also refer to the Hebrew people who descended from Abraham
through Isaac. Still more broadly, the seed of Abraham could include Arabs, who trace their
lineage through Ishmael. This is the physical seed of Abraham. The spiritual seed of Abraham
(believers in Jesus Christ) is comprised of people of all nationalities and ethnicities.
In every ministry, missionaries are sent to spread and speak of the Gospel to the world. It
aims to gather more believers and receivers of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is to let the world
know about the way to be saved and enter the gates of heaven. However, we never force people
to believe of what we speak, we are only promoting the Gospel by telling what is written in the
Holy Book, which is the Bible.
In our church, we have been trying to reach places that doesn’t have much access to our
churches or to our missionaries. There, we spread the word of God and encourage people to
listen to the Gospel. We also tell the Gospel if we have the chance, for example, if one of our
church members is having an event and if given permission, missionaries preach there. We also
encourage our family and friends to come with to the church or at least tell them the Gospel
ourselves if they refuse to come to the church.
III. True Circumcision
Circumcision was an integral part of the nation of Israel, starting with Abraham, the
father of God’s chosen people. It was required of every male Jewish boy that on the eighth day,
the flesh of his foreskin of his male organ was to be cut as a sign of the Abrahamic covenant.
This practice was intended to be a picture of what must happen to the heart, just like baptism is a
picture of the reality of salvation. The foreskin was cut with a sharp knife, signifying that this
person is to be set apart to God. The physical circumcision is a picture of the spiritual
circumcision that must take place in the life of every believer.
When visitors, especially first time visitors, come to our church on Sundays or if the
church is conducting some special events/celebration, Pastors will preach the Gospel and us, the
members, guide the visitors to let them understand and cope up with the subject of the speaker.
Upon preaching, the Pastor will always include the message about receiving Christ as your
personal Lord and Savior, which includes repentance from your sins. At the end of the service,
the Pastor would guide the listeners on how to accept Christ as their Savior and asking for His
forgiveness for their sins.
