In this very moment we will be celebrating one of the two sacraments of our Church which Jesus

commanded us to do.

Let us prepare our hearts and check our motives in partaking the elements in the Holy
Communion set before us by our Lord Jesus. Let us pray for the elements: (pastor pray)
In Galatians 5:16-21

 know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus

Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by
faith in[a] Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law
no one will be justified.
 17
“But if, in seeking to be justified in Christ, we Jews find ourselves also among
the sinners, doesn’t that mean that Christ promotes sin? Absolutely not! 18 If I
rebuild what I destroyed, then I really would be a lawbreaker.
 19
“For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. 20 I have been
crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live
in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for
me. 21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained
through the law, Christ died for nothing!”[b]

 State that communion is for any person who has believed in or trusted the Lord Jesus
Christ alone for his or her salvation. Remind that is it also good for a person to examine
themselves before the Lord in this moment. (Because of this, some people in the audience
may choose not to partake.)
 May I request the Center Leaders or our Center Facilitators to serve the bread and
the cup. Wait for everyone for we will eat the bread and drink the juice altogether.
 At this time, read 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 23 For I received from the Lord what I
also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took
bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my
body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way,
after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my
blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For
whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s
death until he comes.

 Let us all raise our bread and let us pray: Jesus said eat all of, do this in
remembrance of me.
 Let us all raise our cup and let us pray. Jesus said drink all of you, do this in
remembrance of me, for as often you eat of this bread and drink of this wine you are
proclaiming Jesus until He comes.

 Then, lead the congregation in prayer thanking God for the bread, which represents
His body broken for us.
