Detail #4: The way individuals and companies use cloud computing may differ.
Individual users usually use cloud computing to store information. ASPs offer people a
way of sharing or renting computer programs. Businesses can buy or rent time to use a
cloud network to store and share their information.

Detail # 5: Cloud computing can be very useful. However, it may have problems as

2. Writing a summary

Now, use the information related to the main idea you already identified and the supporting
details you extracted from the passage, to write a summary of the text Cloud Computing. Use
the following template to guide your writing process. Remember that supporting details can

SUMMARY ARTICLE COMPUTING IN THE CLOUD

Cloud computing has multiple advantages for users who use it, since cloud computing allows information such
as documents, data, videos, music, and photographs to be stored, among others. There are different ways of
providing the service:
• A provider rents storage space for information,
• You can also try new programs by paying for a specified period
• Share information on the network

It is identified that the concept of cloud computing arose due to the need for connection in the network to share
information and programs, approximately since 1950 the beginnings of this issue have been observed, and during
all this time it evolved and improved to provide more functionalities to users.
As in any market niche, cloud computing generated a growing demand, which was taken advantage of by the
companies that formed application service providers (ASP), offering the possibility to users of renting the service
of an ASP, allowing the customer to know, use and share programs, which would be cheaper than buying them.
Computing in the cloud has been widely accepted by users, since it allows access to information from home, in
companies, in education entities, from any computer that has an internet connection.

Use Cloud Computing:

Cloud computing can provide services for different types of users such as individual or corporate, adjusting to the
needs of each client.

Files that are handled both individually and corporately occupy a large amount of space, space that is not easily
available to store all the information that is handled, also users today require to share a lot of information in real
time, for which they require the ease of being able to access their information from any device or technology tool,
and this can be achieved with cloud computing.
Another advantage that one has with the services provided by cloud computing is having the option of renting the
program that is required for a certain time without having to buy it, this allows the user to rent different programs
at the forefront, since in the Technology issues constantly appear updates that make programs of previous versions
obsolete. This option is very practical for the service and savings they provide.

Staying Safe in the Cloud:

The most frequent problems observed in cloud computing are directly related to the security or
protection of information, since the providers that provide the storage service can go bankrupt, they
can have damage to the servers, which would generate that the client cannot access your information.
There are not many laws to protect users from the loss of information, so it is necessary to contract
cloud computing services with reliable providers, another option is to manage private clouds, to be
used by individuals or companies like an intranet. It is also possible to combine private and public
clouds, to limit the privacy of the information that requires it.
In conclusion, cloud computing makes life easier for users by being able to access, share and manage
their information from any device connected to the internet at the time they choose, as well as enjoy
the advantages of renting space or programs updated by time. customer's choice.
