INVESTMENT SCENARIO:
A. CUMULATIVE FDI EQUITY INFLOWS IN COMPUTER SOFTWARE & HARDWARE:

CUMULATIVE FDI EQUITY INFLOWS (remittance-wise) received during January,

2000 – December, 2018 were 2,304,616.04 crores (US$ 409.81 billion). Out of this, the
amount of FDI equity inflows in the Computer Software & Hardware during January, 2000
to December, 2018 is Rs. 211,873.07 crore (US$ 35.84 billion) which is 8.75% of the total
FDI equity inflows.

During the period from January, 2000 to December, 2018, cumulative FDI equity
inflows are received from SIA/FIPB, Acquisition of shares and RBI’s automatic routes only.
Further, the country specific FDI equity inflows data in respect of Computer Software &
Hardware sector is available only from January, 2000.
