My Most Captivating Interest

Have you ever thought putting products on your face would be someone’s most engaging

interest? Well, it’s mine. The first thing in my mind when talking about something captivating to

me is makeup. Most of the time, makeup is thought of as something used to make yourself look

pretty or to cover up flaws, but it can be so much more. It can be considered an art. Plenty of

makeup brands, makeup types, makeup for different skin types, and makeup for many occasions

gives you the opportunity to mess around with makeup and find what works best with your face.

That is the beauty of it. Makeup has so many uses.

Sometimes people use makeup for an everyday look to even out skin tone or use a natural

cover up. Many times when you put on false eyelashes, eyeliner, darker eyeshadow, lipstick,

blush, or concealer your facial features tend to be exaggerated which draws attention to your

face. By being involved in plays, working with makeup has helped to know which tones of

makeup would look best under bright lights. If you are not familiar with working with actress

makeup, the actress could potentially look washed out on stage. Have you ever watched

television? Every actor, talk show host, news anchor, supermodel, commercial spokesperson, and

movie star will wear makeup of some sort.

Makeup can be magical in a way which can completely change the way a person looks.

Makeup can hide who you are, how you feel, or can express which mood you are in for the day.

It is interesting to see people one day with a natural look and the next day with a gothic look.

Anyone can wear makeup. Putting makeup on is one of my favorite things to do for myself and

others. I have helped with prom and play makeup. It is interesting to see what change makeup

can have on people. When applying makeup, it is like painting on a blank canvas. Makeup comes

in every color imaginable, and like with paints, makeup comes in mattes, glitter, glossy, and

many types in between. Many types of makeup tools are used while applying makeup. Lots of

people need help with makeup due to the fact they may not know how to apply it or match with

their appearance. They could also be unsure of the type of makeup to use for their skin type or

how to keep it on.

Taking care of my skin is also an important part of the makeup process and is one of my

favorite things to do. Putting on makeup allows for me to relax and concentrate on my favorite

hobby. My family knows my love for makeup and how therapeutic it truly is. This would be a

perfect career for me because of the happiness it brings me. Makeup makes me feel good and

most people who wear makeup would most likely agree. At the end of the day, we should always

be happy with our natural face God gave us, but it is fun to jazz it up and create beautiful work.
