1. Who is/are greatly affected by these technological ethical dilemmas? Why
and how?

The persons who were greatly affected by the technological ethical dilemmas which happened
in an intangible world are the proprietor of works, software and data and also the victims of
privacy invasion because their works and personal information may benefited to a group or
individual of unauthorized person/s- who duplicated the technological information and program
and since  some  people thought that digital impropriety are not a serious case, they spread it
wider on social media, therefore, many people believed and practiced as it is a less detectable
evidence than a physical one.

2. Cite at least 3 technological dilemmas mentioned.

From the video mentioned there were many technological dilemmas that were cited. These 3
are the few on the list: invasion of privacy, which is the intrusion on seclusion of credit cards
information, email accounts, passwords etc. Second is software piracy, which is to duplicate the
program or an app being used without paying, for example, when using a cracked app without
purchasing in order to get premium elements or features for widening the choices of the high-
end quality offers. Lastly, cyberbullying is bullying that takes place on different types of social
media platforms, including data distortion, defamation, humiliation, diversion, retaliation, hatred,
scapegoating, wilderness, exploration, harassment etc. 

3. What are the 3P’s of technology by Doug Johnson and its implication in facing
technological dilemmas.
The 3P’s meaning of technology by Doug Johnson which are easy to remember by the students
are: First ‘P’ means privacy which is to protect their own privacy and respect to one’s seclusion.
Second ‘P’, is property which is to protect their own property and respect others’ property.
Lastly, the third ‘P’ is the appropriate use, which is to use the technology well without violating
the laws and rules of the community groups, encompasses; school, church, government and the
smallest unit of the society, the family. 

4. Should there be ethics in information technology? Why?”

There should be ethics in information technology to provide a border to the expansion of


freedom of people because information technology codes of ethics are the implementation rule
for guidance of each individual’s action and an order to put an end to the human mindset and
the violated practices. Also, code of ethics in information technology protects the rights of the
proprietor to secure and be credited to his/her work in the virtual world where the rights of the
owner were addressed and the freedom of the people were not abused.
