_____________________________: Your Chart Ruler in Astrology Determines the First

Impression You Make on Others—Here's What Yours Means. ... "Your chart ruler is the
planet that rules your ascendant or rising sign." (You can use a birth chart generator to
figure out this placement if you don't know what that is already).

_____________________________: In astrology, the houses are the cosmic version of a

crystal ball—only way more legit. ... When you're born, each planet was in a certain
house—and those houses can be seen in your birth chart. The houses are determined by
the time you were born, not just the date, so you might need to text your parents to find
this out.

_____________________________: Mercury retrograde is an astrological phenomenon that

occurs when the fast-moving planet Mercury—which takes 88 days to orbit the Sun, as
opposed to Earth's 365—seems to slow down. Planets move from East to West around
the Sun.

_____________________________: This term refers to the nature of a person whose birthday

falls on the cusp (a point of transition between two states) 2-3 days before and after the
change between two zodiac signs.
