AREVA TD's P300 disconnector is @ pantograph disconnector that is available in
standard models for voltage levels ranging from 123 kV to S60 kV. It consists of a
pantograph system, bearing frame, post insulator, rotary insulator and a motor-operated
mechanism. The bearing frame and the pantograph system are mounted on the post
insulator. The pantograph system contains the contact system in the voltage range so
thatthe current-carrying capacity can be guaranteed
Easy-moving rotary contact systems are installed on all movable elements of the
pantograph system such as the middle joint, for example. In a switch operation, the
Fotary movement of the mechanism is transformed by the rotary insulator inthe bearing
frame into a vertical movement. In the open state, the pantograph disconnector forms a
vertical isolating distance
