Justice and Civilized Humanity

Morals should do :

 Kind speech towards others

‫صدَ َق ٍة َّي ْت َب ُع َهٓا اَ ًذى ۗ َوهّٰللا ُ َغنِيٌّ َحلِ ْي ٌم‬

َ ْ‫َق ْو ٌل مَّعْ ر ُْوفٌ وَّ َم ْغف َِرةٌ َخ ْي ٌر مِّن‬

Kind speech and forgiveness are better than charity followed by injury. And Allah is
Free of need and Forbearing. (Q.S Al Baqarah : 263)

 Treat orphans and poors

۟ ُ‫وا ْٱلقُرْ َب ٰى َو ْٱل َي ٰ َت َم ٰى َو ْٱل َم ٰ َسكِينُ َفٱرْ ُزقُوهُم ِّم ْن ُه َوقُول‬

‫وا لَ ُه ْم َق ْواًل مَّعْ رُو ًفا‬ ۟ ُ‫ض َر ْٱلقِسْ َم َة أ ُ ۟ول‬
َ ‫َوإِ َذا َح‬

And when the relatives and the orphans and Al-Masakin  (the poor) are present at
the time of division, give them out of the property, and speak to them words of
kindness and justice. (Q.S An Nisa : 8)

 Great emphasis on dignity of human beings

‫ِير ِّممَّنْ َخلَ ْق َنا َت ْفضِ ياًل‬

ٍ ‫ت َو َفض َّْل َن ٰـ ُه ْم َعلَ ٰى َكث‬ َّ ‫َولَ َق ْد َكرَّ مْ َنا َبن ِٓى َءادَ َم َو َح َم ْل َن ٰـ ُه ْم فِى ْٱل َبرِّ َو ْٱل َبحْ ِر َو َر َز ْق َن ٰـهُم م َِّن‬
ِ ‫ٱلط ِّي َب ٰـ‬

We have bestowed dignity on the children of Adam; provided them with

transport on land and sea; given them for sustenance things good and pure; and
conferred on them special favors, above a great part of our creation (Q.S Al Isra :
70)

 Forgive your enemy and treat them with kindness

َ ‫َواَل َتسْ َت ِوى ْال َح َس َن ُة َواَل ال َّس ِّي َئ ُة ۗا ِْد َفعْ ِبالَّتِيْ ه‬
َ ‫ِي اَحْ َسنُ َف ِا َذا الَّذِيْ َب ْي َن‬
‫ك َو َب ْي َن ٗه َع َد َاوةٌ َكا َ َّن ٗه َولِيٌّ َح ِم ْي ٌم‬

And not equal are the good deed and the bad. Repel [evil] by that [deed] which is
better; and thereupon, the one whom between you and him is enmity [will
become] as though he was a devoted friend. (Q.S Al Fusilat : 34)

 Remind others as sympathy

ِّ َّ‫َو َذ ِّكرْ َفاِن‬

‫الذ ْك ٰرى َت ْن َف ُع ْالم ُْؤ ِم ِني َْن‬

And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers (Q.S Az Zariyat : 55)
Morals should not dot :

 Corruption
ٓ
َ ‫َواَل َتأْ ُكلُ ْٓوا اَمْ َوالَ ُه ْم ا ِٰلى اَمْ َوالِ ُك ْم ۗ ِا َّن ٗه َك‬
‫ان ح ُْوبًا َك ِبيْرً ا‬

do not exchange (your) bad things for (their) good ones; and devour not their
substance (by adding it) to your substance. Surely, this is a great sin

 Break a relationship among brothers/sisters

‫هّٰللا‬ ٰۤ ُ
‫ص َّم ُه ْم َواَعْ ٰ ٓمى‬
َ َ ‫ك الَّ ِذي َْن لَ َع َن ُه ُم ُ َفا‬
َ ‫ول ِِٕـٕى‬ ‫ ا‬٢٢ ‫ض َو ُت َق ِّطع ُْٓوا اَرْ َحا َم ُك ْم‬
ِ ْ‫َف َه ْل َع َس ْي ُت ْم اِنْ َت َولَّ ْي ُت ْم اَنْ ُت ْفسِ د ُْوا فِى ااْل َر‬
٢٣ ‫ار ُه ْم‬ َ ‫ْص‬
َ ‫اَب‬

So would you perhaps, if you turned away,cause corruption on earth and sever
your [ties of] relationship?(22) Those [who do so] are the ones that Allah has
cursed, so He deafened them and blinded their vision. (23) (Q.S Muhammad : 22-
23)

 Be an arrogant person
‫هّٰللا‬
َ ‫َوا َِذا قِ ْي َل لَ ُه ا َّت ِق َ اَ َخ َذ ْت ُه ْالع َِّزةُ ِبااْل ِ ْث ِم َف َحسْ ب ُٗه َج َه َّن ُم ۗ َولَ ِب ْئ‬
‫س ْال ِم َها ُد‬

And when it is said to him, "Fear Allah," pride in the sin takes hold of him.
Sufficient for him is Hellfire, and how wretched is the resting place. (Q.S Al Baqarah
: 206)

 Inequality

‫اس اَ ْش َي ۤا َء ُه ْم‬ َ ‫َفا َ ْوفُوا ْال َك ْي َل َو ْال ِمي َْز‬

َ ‫ان َواَل َتب َْخسُوا ال َّن‬

Therefore give full measure and full weight and do not diminish to men the value
of their things. (Q.S Al A’raf : 85)

 Behave badly

َ ‫َو ِايَّا ُه ْم َۚواَل َت ْق َربُوا ْال َف َواح‬

‫ِش َما َظ َه َر ِم ْن َها َو َما َبط‬

And do not approach immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is

concealed.
