Gerund and infinitive

If there is an activity after go verb, we use gerund form.

Let’s go jogging / go shopping / go fishing / go hunting / go dancing.

⁕ We use relative clauses to support person, thing …and we are applying

which, who …

⁕ Sometimes we are omitting who and which in the sentences like:

The man who stands at bar is famous journalist.

The man standing at bar is famous journalist.

The walls which surround the city are 500 years old

The walls surrounding the city are 500 years old.

We can write gerund and infinitive with these verbs with different

meanings :

Try in gerund meaning: to test sth I should try reading in English.

Try in infinitive meaning: to do sth, that’s not easy. I have tried to

find a job for weeks.
